I have no idea what sort of bird this was, it was groundhogging, looked like a watermelon, made no sound and had no wings... :)

It was in the Riviera Hall, where the two purple parrots are.. there is a male variant with a red wavey thing on his head... but my lens fogged up in there and those pics failed :P

It's the female of a crested partridge. They're related to pheasants and not actually wingless at all (the rust coloured area is the wing).
