This started, as many ideas do, as a doodle in my class note margins, before I decided to redraw it and color it into a proper picture. It was not inspired by anything in particular, but sometimes you just need to stomp something flat. The vague object being stomped here has been left deliberately vague, so that you, dear viewer, may let your mind fill it in with whatever is needed. Maybe it's your calculus textbook, maybe it's your uncooperative router, maybe it's the entire building your uncooperative internet service provider is housed in, or maybe it's just an empty cardboard box that was handy when you felt the overwhelming need to squish something underpaw. In any case, one thing this nondescript object can safely be said to be is Not In Good Shape.
