Finally got another one of these done. Couldn't think of much to say about her costume that wasn't on Minerva's page, so I copied most of if from there =P
I'm not in love with how it turned out, but I'm having a shitty day, so that could be coloring my judgment.
I think she's the only character in this series who wears somewhat muted colors--I guess because red is such a dominant color, I didn't want it to be overwhelming.
P.S.: Yes, I believe she's the only character who comes close to having "normal" proportions =P

Ok, I realize I was the big meanie to point how how samey the characters looked and now I know I shouldn't have.... BUT... none the less.... here I see so much changed that I have to praise it for it! I'm sure some would call it "minimal changes", but as an amateur comic maker I know how these changes affect the character. I get a clear impression that she's not a full blown courageous heroine, she seems to have some reservations. Her legs, her shoulders, her quite innocent expression (yeah, look at that kids, red eyes don't always mean EVIL)
Also her red headpiece and blue fur sort of remind me of Catra from She-Ra princess of power........................... <awkward silence> ......... and believe it or not that was actually not meant as an insult.
Quite a cool artwork and props for making red and blue work well together (I know how it doesn't always work)

Wanna talk about differences, look at my main page where she's right under Sheba--makes Sheba look like an 8-ft tall amazon XD
I gotta be honest, I don't think I was necessarily going for demure with her pose--there are only so many variations of "stand while facing the camera with arms straight out and the hands turned opposite ways", and I'm at the point where I just do an internet search for the words "woman" and "pose" and I just use whatever comes up that looks interesting enough (especially with characters like her who I haven't really developed personality-wise. I found that particular pose on someone's drawing of an anime-style girl, which might explain why it looks like a demure pose.
She is definitely not evil, tho, and based on what I've come up with so far, it is possible that she's not terribly self-assured, so while I didn't really plan it to look that way, I'm not discounting it either.
Heh, Catra--that also wasn't intentional, but kind of interesting now that you point it out. There's definitely some He-Man and She-ra influence in these characters (Diana's outfit is very similar in style to She-Ra's from the cartoon, Sylvia's was inspired by the action figure, and Sheba's uniform involves a gold head-piece with wings on it) so I don't mind the connection.

I already figured there had to be something after I saw your He-Man for the Atari review. You had some knowledge provided there, you must have at least been a fan at some point in your life. So it's not surprising to see it inspiring you in the present.
Just like me with Sailor Moon and it influencing my comic! ...................... yeah sure, I've got a full male cast, but THAT'S THE JOKE!
<cough cough> ..but about He-Man and She-ra again: Somehow as time goes, I earn more and more respect for the shows... and it's not just the "so bad it's good" kind of respect!
