Very unusual gryphon. I wouldn't have expected to like it so much

I'm still not sure about his hind end (e.g. the usual cat-butt or this non-standard bird-butt). But I do like the tail.

This is making me reconsider my choice in fursonas, that bird is beautiful.
I actualy like the lack of a cat butt, as you've said it. It just seems much more plesant to me like this. A lovely character either way around, you're creative. The artist must've taken a good while to finish such a beautiful peice.

Actually no! The actual drawing was done pretty quickly. Tryst has (had? She may have stopped doing them) a thing where she guaranteed that it would be done 24 hours after you paid the invoice. She's great for fast-turnaround pieces that aren't too involved. :)

I can still imagine a few good hours being spent on this, but I do agree. One day is very quick - I've seen much worse artists take much longer for simple pictures. Of course, I'm not holding much right to speak, since I'm no good at drawing or picture editing.

All in all, I just really liked your character, but may my uneducated self ask whether it was based on a specific bird? I'm not too knowledgable when it comes to birds, but I really love the colors of this one.
