This movement borrows the ideas from the last movement while aiming for something new. Magic is science in Discworld, and the wizards of Discworld are a bit like the scientists of our world, but they seem to make discoveries by bumbling through experiments and making things up as they go.
Only the beginning of the movement, connecting from the last and creating my "bumbling wizards" theme. It's pretty much borrowed from Rango (one of Hans Zimmer's actually GOOD soundtracks in recent memory), and I rather enjoyed the over use of diminished chords in my opening. The instrumentation is a bit different, but then again I'm still using the crummy, only eight instruments allowed version of Finale. Extra points to whoever finds the totally random major nine chord. :D
I'm finally making a little bit of headway on the first movement, expect some lydian mode in the not-to-distant future.
