A commission done for a friend, who thought I'd handle thise characters well. Little Red Riding Hood bumps into the Big Bad Wolf out in the forest. She's a bit bashful ... but not entirely disinterested, I think. ;)

Cool. A really nice image, that wolf is big and buff, enough to simply dwarf Red. :P Very cool pic. ^_^
I have to say though, the girl made me think of one of the girls from the music video of one of Weird Al's songs, "Close But No Cigar", and animated by the same guys who did the classic Ren and Stimpy cartoons. Seen here:

I like how the wolf's huge, but not exactly realistic-huge. I've always been more of a fan of the cartoonish top-heavy style of buffness. Red isn't bad either; there's something about the way that she's pretty plain in the face (with glasses!) but has some damn nice curves that makes her stand out more than women with seventeen layers of make-up.

He's soooo gorgeous, cute and those wonderful looking calves and big feets are awesome. I would love to lay under them like a foot paw stool and massage those wonderful legs.... . to hell with this!

I have not seen anyone put the sex appeal into a cartoony type character. I venture to say that this guy would be a hell of a good candidate for another "Serious Wolf muscle" shirt.

Little Red Riding Hood was a skanky ho who wanted her some wild wolf meat, and the Wolf, being no fool, decided to have a good time at a stupid human's expense. Red's boy toy, the Hunter, finds out about it, concocts some bogus story he makes her play out about the wolf *literally* eating her and her grandma, and the Wolf catches hell because of societal prejudice against his kind.
Look at her trying to act all innocent, for chrissake! She's got her tatas practically busting out of that bustier. She was *looking* for some action on the way to grandma's.

Ironically, I just happened to see some rough preliminary sketches of these characters this morning while perusing either DA or FA, and thought, dang, what a comic this would be.

This probally the best interpetation of "Little Red Riding Hood" since "The Company of Wolves" and a Zeoscope comic book version of this.
Very original, making the wolf and Red both in sexy, attractive redneck types. Being male, Red is such a hottie for me, being scandly clad with a stripless top; with wonderful round boobs and cleavage. And there's Daisy-Duke type shorts that could barely cover the lower parts of her butt (as it appears to do so.) She has a cute nice face, nice red hair with pigtails. What's not to like?
And The Big, Bad, Big-Bodybuilder Wolf is excellent. I'm impressed that he is over-the-top huge to match with those beefy-large muscles. He looks huge and strong enough to take out a bear! Giving him a deep dark-brown fur with some milky caramel tan added adds further to the atmosphere of who and what the character is. I love the fact that the poor tree he is leaning on is tipping over with its roots coming clean out due to Wolfie's strengh and weight. The poor woodsman probally wouldn't stand a chance.
These two would be perfect for each other if it were not for the difference in speices.

Wow, thanks for the very detailed comment on the piece! I was pretty happy with it. Tho I can't take all the credit ... a lot of the physical characteristics of the two characters were described by the commissioner, I just interpreted them.

not manny are aware but in the origonal telling of the sytory, she never got to her grandmothers. The wolf wasnt intrested in her food eather, he was intrested in her.

The funny thing about Grimm's fairy tale about the wolf and girl is that you can change the ending. You think the wolf should fall in love with the girl and marry, go right ahead. Want to turn the girl into a slut that would have sex with a wolf, there's nothing stopping you.

I love that you made red give off that cute, shy, and innocent feeling, and those glasses are a great touch. The Wolf's big, intimidating, but relaxed design is perfect too, and he contrasts beautifully with red. ='D
