Why do I get a Batman Beyond vibe from this?

It made you think of "Inque" I imagine. That was my first impression too, from the thumbnail. I blame the "featureless" thing, as well as the colors. The actual picture makes it seem less fluid and more set form, though. The indentations make me, personally, think of shield generators/energy projectors/hologram emitters.

So either he's got shields like a mofo, lasers from EVERYWHERE, or he's a goddamn ninja and blends in with everything and everyone. The unseen enemy.
