I darn near live off this stuff as it's a step up from plain Ramen. I've discovered adding a andful or two of shredded cheese in the final mix makes the texture creamier and enhances the flavor. If it's possible to find those foil packets of Velveta cheese spread, those make an excellent enhancement to the finished product. It will keep one alive for sure.
Try putting a Jimmy Dean sausage patty in the water first thing. Bring to a boil. Add noodles and prepare ramen as normal. It's the noodles that eat like a meal!!!
I guess if you cut the sausage into bite-size pieces first that would simplify matters. But then it would be less fun to eat.
