So, the logo for the fiancee's and my little e-pub that we are building is done... and here it is. Stuart, seen here with a top hat and cane, posing for the business logo picture is a Cerebral Parasite from Thundress' newest novel to be completed. The release date is to be announced... which means about three of four days after it makes it back from the copy editor and lands on my desk to get whipped into the proper formats and shoved into Kindle for now until we have Parasite Publications fully up and running.

I think the "Parasite" in this instance looks too "Cute," but it does get the point across in a humorous way. After all, would exterminator companies and meat packers stay in business if they followed accurate descriptions of their trades? I like the classy little touches of the top hat and cane too.

Oh Sarah had me "Hooked" with that opening sentence. I had to read on about Stuart and if he'd ever come out and tell the truth to Ellie. The story is an enjoyable read, and it's probably the first time I've felt a twinge of compassion for a "Parasite." A parasite that has consciousness, feelings... perhaps a "Soul." Very complicated, and thought provoking.
