Targeted ads are occasionally very funny indeed.

For a while I'd had it up to here with the Mormon ads that were getting in the way of listening to The Beatles, and went browsing to see if any would pop up on something luridly non-LDS - "Darkness of Greed" by RAtM, "Christianity is Stupid" by Negativland, "American Ghost Dance" by RHCP, and so on. No luck. But I've had plenty of instances of Christian Singles stuff popping up on Rob Zombie/White Zombie videos.

I've developed a very selective eye. I couldn't tell you what the ads are. The most annoying tactic I've seen is the video that states without asking. That gets my ire.

Ads for chicken coops in an article on Bird Flu is about the funniest I've seen. I likely miss a lot because I tune out the ads.

"UNNNNNNLIIIIIIIIIMAHTID POWAAAAAAAAH!"
