One of my stoopider hobbies is writing scripts for Sci Fi Channel type monster movies. I know they'll never get filmed, but it's kind of liberating to ditch my usual meticulous research, struggles to get a plot to make sense, and panel-beating characters into realistic behavior, and just write something batshit insane.

This guy is the "star" of one. It's the least developed script, but he (she?) is the most fun character to draw. My thinking is this - people (or at least, male geeks aged 18-35) love dinosaurs, expecially velociraptors. They also seem to love saber-tooth cats, considering Sci Fi has made like 50 movies about them.

So I thought, why not combine the two? Tah-dah . . . Saber Raptor!
