I occurred to me I should probably post this.
This is page 1 of my 6 page story which was published in the I was a Teenage Gargoyle anthology, from Sawdust Press. The book has all kinds of reminiscing about early internet fandom, be it Gargoyles or Sailor Moon or others. It's a fun little book and I'm proud to have contributed to it.
My section is also chock full of cameos of early Gargoyles fandom people: this page specifically has White Serpent (who I lost track of years ago) and Spike (aka
mommyspike).
If you're interested in the book, let me know, I have copies to sell; I'll also have them at the various conventions I'll be going to.

Just as awesome, I love a good story. ^^
And I know what you mean as far as the friends go. That's one thing I love about the internet really, even with all the crazy annoying things that occasionally come with it I've met many amazing and interesting people I would never have had the chance to meet otherwise, and with some of those people I've gained the privilege of calling them friend <3
