Neeko had an open invitation to colour it in, so close to a month after the fact (I am slow, in case you haven't noticed) here's my crack at it. Apparently I can't colour easter eggs to save my life, but everything else seems to have turned out okay. Maybe the fact it's flat colours and therefore more difficult to screw up has something to do with that, however. >_>
Interestingly, working on this image taught me the importance of varying shades to make things look better. I was just filling the grass in as one colour, stopped and realised that looked really ugly, and shifted it so the grass is now composed of five different shades of green. I am hopeful that everyone will agree that it looks a hell of a lot better as it is now than what it would if it was just one shade.
