First, there was a really weird pigeon-based visual novel and its absolutely epic Let's Play thread, which prompted me to buy the full version.
Then there was the weekly Let's Play-esque Livestream sessions I started to host.
Then there was Ryouta's ending, and this ensuing LiveJournal discussion.
Apparently darknessfalls was paying attention that day, since after that came my birthday, and this absolute masterpiece of a present. Thank you, DF! It is glorious.
Looking between a non-anthropomorphic pigeon in a maid outfit and the teary-eyed Teo holding him/her, you may be wondering whether this is meant to be ridiculous, absurd, and silly, or serious, heartfelt, and emotional. Much like with Hatoful Boyfriend itself, I believe the answer to that is yes.
