Well, this turned out a lot more complex than I had originally meant for it to be...
To make sense of why I'm making these thingies instead of working on the commissions and projects I have, it takes a bit of explaination.
I can't work when the timeframe isn't right. I have no issue with a deadline in a month, but I know I have to sleep eventually and when I work, I need to be able to work open end, hence why I can't really start on project stuff too late at night. Instead, I do scribbles like this.... which then turn out as mostly finished pieces anyway.
All in all, I'm actually rather happy with how this turned out. I'm getting a lot more confident in using colors and I feel I've met with the original series' feeling pretty well. Yes, it's more Kung Fu Panda fan-art, deal with it ... and to answer any questions, yes, I promise I'll do Po and Tigress again next time around, cuz I know that#s what you people want to see X3 Just thought these two were an interesting pair, figured they would eventually want to catch up on old times.
Shipping? Hardly, but I do hope she makes another appearance in the feature films.
Anyway, I gotta head on under the shower and off to Uni. See you guys around. Hopefully I'll have the drive to work on stuff I get paid for again soon.

I think you did a really good job conveying Mei Ling's personality and the relationship between her and Crane in this picture. Looking at this depiction of her vs. the SotFF version, you can see she carries herself as a fully matured martial arts master, as possibly teacher judging from her reserved stance (and the significance of green in the color-implied themes within the KFP universe). You can definatly see an excitement in Crane's expression, but it's more of a "and there was this one time" excitment rather than a romantic one. Excellent job once again.
