This is so close to the truth that its almost not a metaphor for a time in my life.
So what is hope? Hope is to walk down the tunnel even when you can't see the light at the end, without knowing if there will be a light, but trusting that there will- that the tunnel is not straight, and that all you seek may lie just around the bend you cannot see, or behind a door that you're about to bump into.
The rescuer in this picture is sadly no longer with us, but I know he can see what I've made of the life that he saved.
