This set of Havesta creatures is concepts of species that have been developed for a month if not more, currently out of concept stage and currently in critical evaluation and experimentation stage, not all creatures are going to be subjected to the same evaluation as they are not all the same style or for the same reasons. Some are for fetishes, others are for the overall look or just for storyline possibilities with the hope that others will enjoy the chance to see more of the species later on.
Currently however this stage is more of a review of what people think of the species which is why they are uploaded now and I hope that everyone will enjoy the read.
Juv (Juuu’v)
Idea Origin: Tough Humanoid and Feral species, Taur
=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=Description=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=
Juv’s Basic Structure: Juv are creatures that are often thirty to eighty feet shoulder height, they have a feral body and where the neck would be is where a humanoid based figure starts at the waist. The waist up is humanoid only in the shape; however the head of the humanoid section is feral as if the humanoid body was not there. Another word for this shape is Taur or Centaur.
The difference is in size and the internal components of the creature are vastly different from other Taur's but this species is able to mate with any other species to create a Juv from that species. Most of the Juv other than the species differences are all the same, they are all following the base of having a feral head, humanoid chest, arms, and waist that are connected to a feral body that is in scale with the size that they are at which is at thirty to eighty feet tall measuring from the floor to the front shoulder of the feral body.
The Internals are that the head of the Juv is where the brain is along with the other features of the head, the chest where the humanoid body is at has a large cavity with no intestines where large food are able to pass through rather quickly into the feral body unless the meal is small enough to be digested and handled inside of the humanoid section, however the spine follows along the center of the humanoid part where a spine should be expected. When inside of the feral part of the body it enters a muscle stomach where a thick muscle makes up the stomach and allows for compaction, or squeezing of the food inside easily, when that is done and digesting has started it is moved into the second and third stomach for final digestion before moving along the long small and large intestines to be held after absorption of the liquids.
The lungs of the Juv are slightly larger even in proportion to the Juv's Size due to the excessive movement that is needed for them to move the bodies around and the amount of muscles the Juv have, the bone structure is also much more rigid to handle the stress of gravity on the body however are able to flex when stressed before they would break. The heart of the Juv is closer to the front than it originally would have been due to the extra stomach processes inside of the body, the heart provides life for the creature, however the heart is not needed to survive as the Juv can live without the heart as long as the first stomach is able to squeeze, because there is a group of blood veins that are around that stomach muscle that can act like a secondary heart, allowing for a Juv to live after a severe trauma.
Blood loss is also taken care of by muscles that follow and cover most of the major blood veins and are triggered by the Juv's life instinct that shuts down damaged arteries either for conserving heat, or for keeping blood loss to a trickle rather than a large loss. The nerves of the creature are sensitive on many levels, having five times more connections than a human or animal would at the Juv's scale allowing for sensitivity across the whole body which help the Juv figure out where an injury is located at and the most effective muscle to use to keep the blood loss down and reduce farther internal injury.
The muscles around the lungs are unused unless the lungs are punctured and are either deflated or filled with liquids, a Juv can cough out all the liquid inside of the lungs before the muscles around the lung help to prevent liquids from going into the lungs at the same rate or to help assist breathing. Generally, Juv are meant to survive hard encounter's, and are more than able to assist in war efforts.
Explanation of Looks 2 - 6: Below are the categories that the Juv are put into, because the species can mate with so many others; they are based on what they use to walk on: paws, claws, hooves and pointers are main examples
Look 2: Juv Hooves - Examples are Horses, and Cattle
Look 3: Juv Paw - Examples are Cats, Foxes, and Dogs
Look 4: Juv Claw - Examples are Owls, Hawks, and Dragons
Look 5: Juv Pointers - Examples are Spiders, and Insects
Look 6: Juv Flatfoot - Examples are Apes, Monkeys, and Humans
=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=Mental Behavior=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=
General Personality: The Juv are most of the time very playful when it comes to food, they much rather have entertainment rather than fear, even if it will in the result in about the same way. Except for the ones that Juv's think are fun enough to keep for entertainment alone, or for other reasons like it. They are very tough when it comes to battle and when they have to protect things.
Aggressive Behavior: They often battle at times, but only in a duel rather than for the death, the reason is that they are trying to find ways to figure out who of the Juv is strong enough to mate with someone who is able to mate with the Juv's size.
Neutral Behavior: They like lazing around, or enjoying company with creatures often smaller than themselves, they find it odd when finding someone about their size and are rather hesitant on what to do with them.
Defensive Behavior: They often try and aggressively move forward, if that does not work they will try and slowly back away as they try and deflect their way; the only difference is that the Juv will not back away when they know the battle might not end up that well and will give others a chance to move away as they provide a defensive line for the others and often younger Juv to run away.
=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=General Knowledge=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=
Feeding Habits: A high consumption of meals is needed, the Juv however are based more on what the species they are rather than what all of them will eat, a cow based Juv will rather plants while a tiger Juv would rather meat, however they all need an excessive amount of whatever they eat to keep themselves active for most of the day.
Reproduction: They are able to reproduce with any creature, however most of the times reproduction with another creature results in the creatures death due to the fact that Juv consume the creature with their reproductive organs and convert them either into seed for males, or into DNA material for females that are used to pregnant a female Juv to rebirth the species that they had intended on mating with while keeping the memories of the species alive in the new Juv, with added features or new memories that allow them to accept the transformation that has happened to them. This does not need to happen however if the Juv find a species that are large enough to handle the size of their reproductive organ to produce offspring.
Life Range/Maturity Ages: The Juv live rather long, even after major damage is done to them, however the majority of them live around five thousand or so years long.
Intelligence: Very high intelligence, however from their state they sometimes can and will revert into a feral instinct mindset when the occasion happens to the extent of the species they are, usually they might not even remember what happens when they go into this mindset.
Language/Communications: They speak a set of languages, they are all however accustomed to one set of languages that are grunts and groans in a low tone. The language are determined by what species they are, but otherwise Juv can talk to Juv otherwise.
Family Structure: Families are usually very veried due to the ability to combine with so many different species, however they treat each other Juv as a family member, because even if looks are different the chances that they are related to each other is extremely high, like having the same father or mother.
Group Activities: Playing with smaller creatures seems to be a major factor in how Juv’s entertain themselves, and how they continue their species as reproduction seems to have an influence on major events that they do.
Technology Level: Veries, but mainly they are a simple creature that uses basic weapons like swords and shields to defend themselves rather than using technology; the highest that Juv often have are guns of some form but usually that is rare.
General Response to Other Species: They rather play with the smaller creatures before they do anything else, though “playing” with might include roughhousing and rough treatment if they are not careful enough and depending on if the other specie is very fragile or not.
=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=Favorites=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=
Favorite Food: Anything really, they love what the species they are based on the most, however.
Favorite Place: They like large ponds and lakes to play in and cool off in, even if the species they are usually don’t like the water, like cats often show.
Favorite Outlook on Life: They like to treat life as a party and clearly show it in the way that they play with other creatures, often without much regard how they will end up after they play.
Favorite Belief/Religion: What time they have on the world is what they have, they are not to opptimistic about death at all, and rather avoid it; there are fears of death unless the death is due to being fed on by another Juv specially for reproduction reasons because that gives them a chance to be reborn as again rather than die.
Favorite Ritual or Event: They don’t really have one, they are free spirit most of the time and many events are just on the occasion or if they are near, they would even go to parties or other major events, anything to have fun.
=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=History=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=
Major Events: After being subjected to portals that shifted some of the species along different areas due to unknown means, the Juv have been spoted in areas that they had not been before, and some of them even employed at places of relaxation and entertainment.
=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=Audience Information=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=~~=
Is the Species supposed to be Liked or Disliked? Liked, even if they might cause damage as they wonder around they are overall meant to be very sociable towards other species even if their play time involves more harsher means. Its like a dog that does not understand that its rather large and can hurt someone as it plays and pounces on things.
What makes this Species Interesting? The structure that makes their body allows for them to survive most combat, however they are not focused on combat and use their bodies for play rather than war.
Why Should the Audience Care? A large lovable but wreck-less Juv can be cute and a danger to itself, taking care of a Juv while keeping balance in check could result in many situations where the interactions involving a Juv can provide loads of entertainment as it can involve drama and dramatic emotional changes as well.
Is there any Deep Meaning involved with the Species? Being evolved with combat and war in mind does not mean that the Juv are not going to have war or combat in their future or in their lifetime. Being able for something does not mean its forced onto someone’s future.
Is there any Story Involved with the Species? Becoming a Juv, helping a Juv or playing with a Juv is one involvement, there is also the backstory that allowed the Juv to appear in many different spots and it can also be one of the stories that can be followed. Finding out what caused them to be spread so far apart would be an interesting venture.
