The first person to make science understandable for us. Also, great story he wrote and decent movie adaptation "Contact". Definitely made you wonder what happens when science, religion and politics clash. Excellent job on the image.

Carl Sagan is sorely missed, he was a scientist but also a communicator, he had the charisma and the ability to make science available and understandable to simple people like me.

I agree this guy helped my love of science and all the things that made us who we are. I'm so watching the DVD of the original series. It was brilliant however the second series a few years later was somewhat flat.

I felt real sad when he died, i was on high scholl when Cosmos came out, i watched every chapter, and when Cosmos was printed i bought the book, i still keep it.

He was the first scientist to reach to the common person, explained things in a way that you understood without being scientifically minded, thanks to him, channels like Discovery Channel exist. And now that his serie is on DVD i have my nephews and nieces watch it, and they love it.

All Hail Sagan!! he is sorely missed.

I chose Sagan as my scientist for a 40-pager bio in an honors class. I do not regret it. That led me to purchase "Cosmos."

I love Carl Sagans memory. He was such an amazing person. I have "Cosmos" Both in dvd and book.

We bought this poster when we went to FWA last year (2013). I bought the fancy frame and now to hang it somewhere.... Some afternoon we will be hanging all the pictures the framed stuff. For now I need batteries for the stud finder.
