Well I've begun to come up with a new scifi universe and thusly here's my first species. One of several Hominid species all of which are derived from Homo Ergaster. As always species info first then info on the individual.

Vonkeel are a hominid species of the genus Homo. They are a cousin species of humans. Their homeworld of Vonkel is a fairly earth like planet with a 25 hour rotational cycle and an obit approximately as long as Earth's. Vonkeel aside from external physical diffrences also retain the denser muscle and bone structure of their early ancestors. Though not the strongest species they are strong, swift and intelligent. Vonkeel come from a society which values honor and nobility. Vonkeel are among the best warriors in the known galaxy having the perfect blend of physical prowess and tactical thinking. Vonkeel are highly respected and comprise the bulk of of the Guard forces on the Galactic Capital world of Helios.

Captain Rontelous Alteran is the captain of the Guard forces for the city of Trestia on Helios. His task typically keep him personally patroling the area near the governance building. Captain Rontelous was originally born on Vonkel in a small river valley town named Noston. He is an outgoing confident individual and fairly level headed. He typically takes the adage of trying anything once and is well liked among his subordinates. Rontelous' combat skills are centered on bladed weapons combat, pistols, and long range rifles as well as hand to hand combat. As far as Family Rontelous is the youngest of three children having two older sisters. Lashin and Tinia. His Mother Lendra is a Doctor at Noston's local Hospital. His father Denkin was a police officer now deceased due to late state Corten Syndrome. A gentic syndrome which causes neural tissue decay in the spinal cord eventually leading to death.
