Wow, I actually DID manage to finish this animation! :O
And wanna see what did and didn't make the cut into this final version? Check it ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7745096/
So this was yet another animation for my class. I chose to go for a song since they tend to require less sound editing compared to an original script. And this song was actually on my list of "Songs I want to turn into animations". So its a win-win! :D Overall, I'm pretty proud of this animation, though I wish I could up the details of the characters and backgrounds, but one person doing FbF of a 1 minute animation is a lot of work in and of itself with only so much time permitted.
As for the song itself, it comes from an album simply called "Mega Ran". It consists of original raps and collabs inspired by (what else, of course?) the Megaman 1 soundtrack. The guy's so legit that unlike many other game inspired composers, he's actually been acknowleged by Capcom themselves: http://www.capcom-unity.com/officia.....m_now_on_vinyl
He's also followed up with albums of Megaman 9 and 10, and even a throwback album featuring raps inspired by retro games called "Forever Famicom". From Final Fantasy 7 to a rap about Jeremy Lin, Random's done quite a lot. And don't think nerdcore is all he does (not including that Jeremy Lin rap). He even does original raps that give a nice old school vibe. Even cooler, he's one of the more family friendly rappers who don't toss around swears to fill syllables, or gets too raunchy about whatever subject he's going on about.
And I can bet SOMEONE is wondering, 'Why is Megaman black?' Well its because this isn't really Megaman. Its Mega Ran. The songs pertaining to the album, though taking from the Megaman soundtrack, consists of Random's trails, tribulations, experience, adventures, and stories. So yeah, not a typo. Not an accidental color swap. :V
