Title: "Tangerine Field"
Artist: megawolf77
Genre: Trance / Sweet Trance
Length: 6:09
BPM: 141
This is my very first TRANCE music. I change the experimental title "Tangerine Valley" into "Tangerine Field".
This music was kinda hard to make.
Imagine you're in a field full of oranges and tangerines... enjoying the sweet smell with a mix of happy emotion and delight as you wander around there.
You felt like you want to stay there forever.
Enjoy my Trance music! ^w^
----[UP-DATE EDIT]----
- I re-arranged and balanced the synths and BGs. (09-14-2007)

Goddess above, I don't think I've heard a better piece of music since the instrumental version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera! This tune is so bouncy and uplifting and it just goes on seemingly forever. Yeah, there's a lot of different sub harmonies, but rather than seeing that as a weakness, I honnestly think it's what keeps this piece from getting stale, because at a twitch over six minutes, it's one of the longest tunes you've created. The transitions sound just fine to me, in fact they roll so well, one into the next, that it's one of the reasons I'm faving this right now!
A bit repetitive. Simple but fun. My biggest problem is the title actually, sounds very unoriginal thanks to the beetles strawberry fields name and junk. If you are set on the theme then I think the first title you had was actually better, more original. I didn’t really have a problem with the transitions. All I could say is try to add more variations on the main melody not just key changes. Good first shot at the genre. A cute, happy tune. ^^
Well, you asked for a critic, but I'm not going to shread it. But I will be frank.
This isn't something I'd download to listen to over and over again. But it's not something that'd make me jump to hit the mute button, either.
I'm not too familiar with the trance genre, but in comparison to what I've heard, this has some sort of musical quality that, while still being repetitive, still makes it a bit nice. I think what'd make it really excellent would be more seamless transitions, but I'm not completely sure how you're putting this together, so I'm not sure how I could explain how to better make that happen, sorry.
But it's not that bad. :3 I'd give it 3/5
