The old one made me look too much like an anthro and was really flat and lifeless, even with the shading touch-ups I made to it recently. I really like how this one came out, even if I do look like I'm about to give a snooty retort to something.

One thing I noticed is how much softer everything looked on this pic, and how much more natural and diffuse the highlights seem. It could be my imagination, but I did the highlights on this before it was colored, and I wonder if doing it on grey like an old-timey photo helped in getting a nice soft look to them.
