I think this is one of your best anthro character artworks ever^_^,
It just rocks.
You keep drawing, ~Pokes~, you have a lot more talent than you probably let us know you have. Believe in yourself too. Trust me when I say, not everyone can draw toony stuff. I can do lots of details, but when in animation class they ask me to do toony stuffs, I am so bad. You draw circles around me with toony stuff ^_^.
Many of your works I find are very nicely done.
I am especially impressed by the clean up skills you used, and the shading is so smooth so it transfers very well to a stand up print.
I can ink/pencil/draw, but when it comes to finishing skills, I suck. So nothing I do is ever made better by color XD. It takes a steady hand and patience to really finish off artwork right.
You told me once that the one reason why you don’t draw as much as you would like too is because you have such a busy lifestyle. Keep at your art foxy ^_^; and never compare yourself by what others art. Take it from me, I sat down and drew with determination and I got better in 2 years, from scratches to structure, but in 2 months of drawing every day, committed and taking tons of time to freeze frame animations and study anatomy. I have improved significantly.
Goes to show that with a little time and concentration, you will see results, and if its something you want enough to put in the effort; they will only get greater faster.
I would be honored to doodle / opencanvas with you any time you like, “and can find me online”. You are one of the first furries that got me interested in drawing. And without people like you I wouldn’t be where I am, in an animation school and on the verge of a great career. Maybe we could exchange notes and teach a thing or two to each other ^_^. I find that’s what happens at school surrounded by so many other artists and with friends I oc with online.
