is my secret lover.
I'm pretty sure she's a herm too. That laugh is WAY too masculine.

Wouldn't be the first time I've seen it...
...also, what about that one Chozo who was said to have stayed behind on Elysia to look for the planet Phaaze....alone....with on one but the robots to keep her company...surely she couldn't have gone those long years without constructing a companion to help with her need of 'tension relief'...

Hmmm...
Technically, she's the Metroid Prime, using Phazon mutagens and DNA and technology stolen directly from Samus to form a new body.
That, combined with the fact that the Metroid Prime seemed to be able to spawn Metroids asexually by itself, one would guess the Dark Hunter is Hermaphroditic... hell, technically, it could be whatever it wants.

Actually, I've been theorizing that Metroid Prime/Dark Hunter is part of a Phazon super-entity. Phazon seems alive, because it *is*. The Prime/Hunter entity is merely the "Head" or "Queen" manifestation of the phazon, and it takes on the form of the most dangerous creature it can find- a Metroid at first, then Samus.
