PINKAMENA DIANE PIE (rejected April Fool's idea)
My initial idea for April Fool's Day this year, before I rejected it in favor of Pinkie Pie and KT Have a Baby, was to do a series of images making fun of some of the more unsavory fan-based alternate pony characterizations.
Here's PINKAMENA DIANE PIE, which is simply Pinkie Pie's full legal name, not the name of some crazed straight-haired murderous alter ego or doppelgänger of our favorite pink party pony.

You know what's funny? How many ponies who forget that Cupcakes was written in response to the Cupcakes song in "Call of the Cutie", WELL BEFORE we even hear the name "Pinkamena Diane Pie" in "Cutie Mark Chronicles", much less see Pinkie all depressed/schizophrenic in "Party of One".
(Not to mention, I have depression, as well as some schizophrenic tendencies, so it kinda annoys me to no end to see flat-maned Pinkie be portrayed as "murderous"...that's just a stupid stereotype, most of us can actually operate normally in society)
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, I agree with what you're saying with this pic wholeheartedly.
