...can duct-tape count as an artistic medium?? i say, who cares... it makes my old airsoft shotgun look damn awesome though.
THIS is the sort of crap i do in my spare time... yes. i wouldve done this to my other airsoft guns too but i decided against it. this is my second-cheapest gun which i dont care if theres leftover adhesive on it if i decide to peel the tape off in the future. i dont want to leave adhesive residue on my $200.00, 437fps velocity AEG airsoft AK-47 with real wood grips and real metal... nuff' said.

ahh, now i get what u were saying earlier. i actually havent been able to find any official airsoft courses in my vicinity, most are paintball-only... when i airsoft i generally go out with a large group of friends on private property and we shoot the bejeezus out of each other with only a few rules:
1. goggles!! shooting eyes out is bad!
2. dont shoot someone outside of an airsoft game unless they really really deserve a cheapshot.
3. dont stop to take a leak on the course unless you want to get hit...
4. any airsoft gun is allowed, so play at your own risk.
5. divy-up the teams so that the # of people with high quality airsoft guns is relatively equal, same with the people who only have crappy airsoft guns.

i guess point-blank shots are illegal... ^^; mainly because the last few times that happened, the welts lasted for months.
and you have a point but we're all experienced, just if theres one team that that only has the crappy airsoft guns you can get at most retail stores like the shotgun here (plastic, low FPS, non-automatics) they gonna get pwned by all the people with full-auto, high-quality, expensive as heck airsoft guns, people like me

yeah, when the expensive guns run out of batteries or CO2 the spring guns are whats left to use while waiting for a recharge. and owning your own gun has its advantages over renting, you get to customize it to suit your own playstyle. heck, i recently got a laser sight for my pistol and it kicks ass!
How about a spare battery? :P
I know, the rental kits are just for the people who are new to airsoft. Once they become infected by the airsoft virus, they buy their own AEG soon! xD
