This is a necklace I made as a gift for my fiance's grandmother last Christmas. I also made an origami gift box to go with.

The pendant's core is made of 20 gauge copper core, red plastic coated wire. I wire wrapped the outside (frame) part with 28 gauge red plastic coated copper wire. There is a bit of brass wire wrapped around as an accent. I also used the brass wire as an accent to set off the twists in the internal wire pieces. The stone in the middle is a purple dyed Agate.

The necklace itself is size 6 glass seed beads in indigo and dark red with brass spacer beads as accent dual threaded on nylon ribbon (same sort of ribbon as the spool shown as a scaling piece). The bead on either side of the pendant is also a purple dyed Agate like the one in the center of the cross.

The gift box is a modification of an origami design I learned ages ago. I modified the design to make for a shallower box more fitting the size of the necklace. I did all the 2D work on the box with Sharpies and gel pens (the metallic accents).
