OH FUCK..wait a sec...i had one of the most Epic Mindfuck i ever experienced..i actually ATE THESE PASTRIES MY WHOLE LIFE TIME and i wasnt recognizing them on the photo..just cause..you used the actual french-based naem for them..that,in my town is not used...and that mindufcked my spongy-matter so hard O_O

no no..you must not be sorry in any way...my HOMETOWN must be sorry for having adopted the phonetically-interpreted word for "beignets" which is " BIGNE'" ("BEEN-NEH..whit a stress between teh two "N") instead of the original one (the one you used on this pic) and since this kinda food is heavily eaten and baked on my palce as well (since the Frenchs ,oh yes,once more them,imported this pastry on my country at teh end of 1700) almost as representing an hugepart of my hildhood and young-lived life, you can see how this little lignuistical yet ENORMOUSLY signifiant discover puts UPSIDE-DOWN any of my inner-based feelings related to that little itty bitty puffy pudgy pastry's name ...this is what i call "reversed discovery" ..and once more,it happened when Language,Cukture and..FOOD meets at a certain point...

so..its not your fault at all..conversedly,you baked them so deliciously as far as i can see! ^3^
