In the sport of Roller Derby, there are injurys~thats just a fact. Last night was no exception. when a skater goes down and does not get up...we all take a knee-hold our breath-and even pray. Nobody intentionally hurts another player, no matter how intence the action or competition gets, thats a common miss conception about our sport. Thankfully, she did manage to get up, but did have to be carried off the floor-her ankle badly sprained and her knee swelling. the bout goes on-another skater takes her place-game on.
