As some of you know, I live in California. This means that it's expensive. However, there are some perks.
My family and I spent the day at Bonny Doon State Beach, pictured above, about 7 miles north of Santa Cruz. It's one of the prettier beaches I've been to, with a couple of minor disadvantages. First, the beach can only be accessed by climbing down a very steep sand dune, or a sheer cliff. The second disadvantage is that it is clothing optional, and, by the universal law of spite, it's always the people who shouldn't be naked in public who are.
Luckily, No naked people today. It WAS cold as all get-out, though. Lotta wind.
