Lol, it probably looks more impressive than it is :) Was collected a piece at a time and only today fell together in the completed thing - and I have no clue how, or even if, I can get games to span all 3 screens in this config xD Not that I think the graphics card would handle it if I could...

Still! Real nice screen setup and at 4.5 GHz! Thats nothing to cough about!
I have is 2 Screens and a 32" LCD connected to mine but yours just looks good!
Are your hard drives 5400 or 7200 RPM?

One of each actually, I got the 5400 for a media drive - doesn't have to be fast, but low power/heat is good :)

More heat = more fans
More power = bigger power supply!
And I did the same with my hard drives ^^

I'm not a fan of photoshop, not with all the alternatives out there under GNU, but hey... to each their own. If that's what you use to make the arts you make... you go, man.

I tried to like GIMP... many many times, tried really hard, like 2-3 days worth of trying.

But I just hate it. It felt slow and unintuitive and every time I was forced to look at the dozen disconnected windows now sprawled across my desktop, I realised why people pay craploads for Photoshop.

I use mostly Paint Tool SAI for the linework however, PS just doesn't understand drawing smooth lines by hand and tries to approximate them to horizontal/vertical :/ But all the vector pathing and text wrapping in the image above, that needed PS!

Vector pathing and text wrapping? Sounds like a job for Inkscape to me!

But seriously, use whatever tools work for you. If you need PS to get your arts done, then use it.

Yeah, the glasses are a pain the arse I have admit, I am looking forward to the days of watching 3d films minus looking like a tit lol. But still 3D isn't all bad.

Haha! Me to but I have seen can-coolers about, no quite the same but not a bad start.

how do you manged to hook that 3 monitors up to your computer ( two graphics cards ? ) ?

definitely looking forward to getting a similar setup :D - I have only two monitors running but can't imagine how I ever manged to get around with only one before ^^

2x DVI, 2x Mini Display Port, 1x HDMI - though you max out at 4 monitors, and must use both MDPs to do it ^^

Runs slightly louder now, 3 monitors doesn't let it idle properly... but tis still reasonably quiet.

Wow I didn't even realize they made tablets that big. That's a really cool workspace!

Actually Wacom go up to A3... but A4 is MORE than big enough. I suspect A5 would have been enough, half the surface of mine is pristine and unscratched xD A3 I believe is for big freehand designers, people who are trained to use large from-the-shoulder movements.

Not sure if I should be impressed, awed or ... brain not working with me here, 5 am xD
