Aaaaaaaaanyway here's another pic for my Voyage story of Petie demonstrating the powers of the Babu Babu no Mi! With an accompanying story! =D This takes place a little while into Petie & Jules's journy in case you were wondering.
“Hey brat!!!”
Petie looked up from the bar where he was currently nursing a baby bottle of milk… not his beverage or drink container of choice but he was not old enough for booze yet and his power turned every cup he got his hands on into a bottle so he had to deal with it. He found himself looking up at a big nosed Pikachu wearing a stereotypical pirate outfit (he wasn’t gonna say it looked just like Jules’s) and pointing a sword at him.
“I hear you and your buddy got a stash of gold in that bath toy you call a boat… since kids in diapers don’t need that kinda cash I’ll be taking it from you! Now hand it over!”
Petie slowly climbed down off the bar stool, ignoring the sword being pointed at him as the Pikachu continued to make threats. He stood in front of him for a moment before the Pikachu realized the “baby” was cowering in fear of his big pointy sword “Hey! Didn’t you hear me!? I said hand over the loot!” he shouted, making more threatening gestures at Petie, starting to feel a little unnerved at the teddiursa’s bored look. Finally Petie spoke up.
“Got a question for you.”
“What!?”
“Did you think this through?”
“Huh?”
“Mugging somebody who looks like I do, dresses in these kind of clothes in broad daylight, walks around unguarded, yet has that much treasure to my name? Doesn’t that send up a red flag or two?”
“Uh… now that you mention it…”
Just then the would be bandit noticed the tingling feeling he was getting and the powder white clouds forming around him “Wha…?” he said just as they covered him with a soft POOf, when they cleared a tiny pichu infant was looking up at Petie with confused eyes and clutching the rattle that had been a sword moments before. As he blinked and stared blankly for a moment before the realization of what just happen kicked in and he expressed himself the only way he could.
“WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!”
Petie couldn’t hide his broad smile as the infant bawled and shook his rattle angrily. He still didn’t have control of his powers but turning people into babies was something he could do with confidence… and that’d even been good practice at restraining his powers until needed to! Climbing back onto the stool and ignoring the crying baby he resumed drinking his milk. There was only TWO thing that bothered him about that little encounter… one was that no matter how badass he’d been he’d done it dressed like a baby.
Two was that after having a sword waved that close to his face he needed a dry diaper.
Hope you enjoyed that =3 (don't worry the pikachu will turn back... in an hour or two... or three)

I would think they'd turn back to normal after a little bit if Petie has his power under that much contral. Well a good number of those mon can at least have a fresh start at life in a way from this. I'd almost like to RP something along this misadventure of Petie's but I don't know enough about One Peice to make it work right.
Naaaa, they turn back... the difference between Petie and somebody with complete control over the fruit is that someone could complete control could turn things babyish and back to normal no problem. Petie on the other hand can only restore people to normal (not clothes or items sadly) if he focuses hard enough. Everything else turns back in a few hours if it's away from his area of effect.
Ah, i see.
Thanks for sorting that out, now, there's one other question that i want to ask:
Other than Sea prism stone, all, if not, most devil fruits have a weakness. My question is this, whats the weakness of the Babu babu no mi? And does it exist as a devil fruit in itself.
(Example, The weakness of the Rumble rumble fruit is rubber, which is constituted in the gum gum fruit)

Wind and distance. The power of Petie's fruit is activated by a powder that he can emit from his body that lets him transform others. Avoid the powder and it won't happen till you get point blank with Petie where he doesn't need the powder to use his powers... but that basically means you can stand on the other side of a ship and shoot him and he'd be helpless to stop you.
Ah, interesting!
That means Petie would have an advantage on Zoan type users, due to the fact that they mostly use close range attacks. However, he would have a disadvantage against Logia types, due to the fact that they all can use long range attacks. As for paramecia, its mixed, as some users use long range (Like Nico Robin), while others use close range attacks.
However, just because some Paramecia type users can use long range attacks, doesn't mean they are safe. As an example, if Luffy tried to use gum gum pistol on Petie and missed, that would give Petie a perfect opening, as Petie could use his power on luffy's outstretched arm. The only thing i am not sure about in that scenario is this, would Petie's powers affect just the outstretched arm, or would they affect Luffy as a whole?

The powder travels in waves across surfaces and envelops things to transform it (usually, the only exception is things in Petie's immediate area but that's something else) so Petie could grab the arm and send the powder along it to envelop Luffy. Petie's powers can't do "Parts" on non-inanimate objects too well so he couldn't "just" affect the arm.
I can picture being down right terrified of Weevil who's bugs get into just about everything and the fact that he can split apart and unhinge his jaw to eat more. Weevil actually likes Gabriel and thinks he could be a truly great warrior and friend if he became less timid and willing to fight a bit more.
