page 5 of a sequence featuring his victim getting changed over into a werecrow by the caws and calls of a wild crow.
Now that his Avian side has taken the reigns, he feels only a strong desire to find more like him... Even if he has to turn people unwillingly... He searches his human host's memories for some suitable subjects to join his ranks as feathered folk, starting with those close to his human host.

actually... I can't claim all the credit here... the eyes being done in that fashion were only HALF my idea ^_^ you can thank Kirydos himself for the look in the final cut. he expanded on what was already there to make this character really pop. I must give credit where it is due :)
One thing I noticed in this sequence that I thought was a great effect was the setting of the sun and the coming of night. Just as his human personality sets, so too does the crow ascend, overshadowing him and casting all in a pall of corvid darkness. Beautifully effected through the frames, it adds to the setting and the horror of the transformation very nicely!

Want! So jealous of this kid right now...;) Though I could do without the schizophrenia/possession.
After all, what's the point in being something you want to be, if you aren't in control, or otherwise able to recall what is happening? I'd be better off just sleeping and dreaming;> equal amounts of neat scenarios, just as likely to forget it all, and most importantly, all is done where I'm safe and sound!
But yes, beautiful sequence shiro, and the eyes are beautiful: having a deep, dark color that looks almost black *unless* you look very closely. maybe that is the one way to know if a crow is just a werecorvid in disguise?
