So, what was solution to our sleeping arrangement at the Black Stallion Hotel http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7786995/ during our stay in Canterlot? Our suite at the hotel was breathtaking but it only had one bed in it. Admittedly the mattress appeared to be slight less than half an acre in size but it still was just one bed, and apparently Petina who had made the reservations with the hotel had decided not poll any of her companions about whether this would be a problem or not.
Now I know that Petina had no problem at all with sharing the bed, or me for that matter, with Carousel. In fact I am absolutely certain that she had conspired to create this scenario so she could get a chance to be in the sack with the earth pony mare. For my part I was willing to behave myself while we were in Canterlot, but what was Carousel opinion of all this? Yes, she is a roommate of Petina and I, and back in her home reality she is an exotic dancer and is hardly shy about her appearance. But that was acceptable for business may not be for personal. Therefore I thought it would be rude to just assume she was okay with the current arrangement.
Now Carousel is hardly a genius but she wasn't born yesterday either. She can could put one and one together and get two, and she has lived with Petina and I for a couple months now and has a pretty good feel for Petina's mode of operation. Therefore she knew that my surprise to the current situation was genuine and not me acting. Besides Petina stated right way that I was gentlestallion and that I would not do anything unbecoming to her without her permission. However if it would make Carousel feel more at ease, Petina was more than willing to sleep between us and keep Carousel safe.
Carousel just stared deadpan at the unicorn mare before informing Petina that if there was anyone she needed to watch out for it was Petina herself. Like I said, Carousel can put one and one together and get two. I found it a bit amusing to watch Petina deflate a little like a balloon. In the end it was agreed that so long as everyone respected everyone else, then no one would be stuck sleeping on sofa for next four nights. That seem to perk Petina up again. All was not lost!

I note the bedroom is tall enough for you to stay airborne. I suppose you've become reasonably proficient at low-level, low-speed hovering that lots of pegasi seem to do, but it still looks tiring.

Sorry if this is too inappropiate a comment, but it's situations like this that remind me of how much I love Petina and how, well, sexy I find her. I wouldn't mind us sharing a bed... but oh well.

That is why I described in the last posting as being the size of an aircraft carrier. I am not certain how the maids make the thing in the morning? Also the fact it has Celestia's sun symbol on it, and is in the same color pallete as her is a bit....well odd. I can't help but ask. "Does Celestia know about this?"

I'd say you were put up in the Princess Suite, styled and sized to her. Think of it as the equivalent of a Presidential Suite, suitable for but not the property of the personage in question. While the matter of who Petina did a favor for (and what favor) is still unanswered, I don't think Celestia is normally informed of who stays in that room.

But it's most likely the reason Petina wanted it -she has a bit of the hots for Cel, so a bed that looks like her would be the greatest thing ever to sleep on.

Nice to see Carousel trusts you more than Petina. But then, knowing Petina, who could possibly blame her? Also, Petina is a dirty, dirty girl, isn't she? Is there any point at which she isn't thinking of sex or money? Though being in bed with two beautifull mares for the next four nights would strain me severely.
Yeah, on the few occasions when Petina and Fluttershy have had one on one conservations it has been interesting to observe the differences in personalities. Now it is not that Petina is entirely indifferent to others feeling and opinions, but often she is so enthusiastic about hers that she can run roughshod over folks point of view. Even if it is accidental.
Well I don't know how it would in real life, but in my dreams so long as I keep them fold up against my body i can lay on my side or back. Although I often find myself sleeping on belly in this form. The thing I have to watch out for is if I let one my wings extend out that Petina doesn't roll over on it while were both sleeping. That can really hurt and makes a mess of my preening. One thing Petina likes to do when I'm sleeping on belly is crawl under one of my wings and go to sleep there. Which is kind of cute if sometimes a little bit ticklish.
