Rampage. One of the teammembers in my superhero project. (I guess he sorta counts) Eddie Warburton, Jr. is a former metahuman gangmember. He and Firehazard ran with the Devil's Cross Mob in their teens. When the DCM had it's own 'Civil War' for leadership, Rampage and Firehazard joined with the original leader, a rocky geomorph calling himself Quake. In the melee, Rampage lost his left eye. His powers, however, soon regenerated him a new one. Rampage went straight at age 18, while Firehazard would remain a criminal for a few years more. Eddie was allowed to return to his parents' home as long as he was able to maintain a job. He has been employed in the mailroom of Starr Publications, publishers of Moonbeam Magazine (a metahuman themed fashion mag) and The Corona, a regional newsmagazine owned by Ash Starr, aka Ashley Starling III, heir to a large publishing fortune, and Neutrino's ex-boyfriend.
Rampage, whenever possible, did all he could to use his powers to protect his East Side neighborhood. When Firehazard approached his old partner to join the StarBrats, Rampage was more than willing, specifically when told that the StarBrats would make sure to provide protection to many of the smaller innercity neighborhoods.

Rampage is what is called an "environmorph". He has the ability to shift his DNA structure to that of a man/animal hybrid based on his surroundings at the time of the shift. His abilities can also be used to heal injuries with methods such as "reptiling" his d.n.a. to regrow lost limbs. His strength, speed, stamina and senses are heightened during a shift. While, Rampage's transformations are wide and varied according to his surroundings, being an inner city dweller, his "default" form is usually that of a large mammalian canine/rodent hybrid.
