This is my mate's 
shyunicorn83's van. Monday around 5:30 local time she was in a rear end collision on the interstate. My Mate's mom was driving at the time. She apparently looked down, and looked up to see another mini-van in the middle of the road. She hit it at near interstate speeds. The air-bags deployed, and her belt was on. She is fine.
The other van apparently lost the bumper, but the most damage was to our poor van. As you can see everything between the bumper, and windshield is FUBAR. What you can't see is that the motor is actually destoryed, and dislodged. That extends to teh Transmission, cooling, HAVC, and steering systems. All electrical, and air intake systems are completely wasted as well.
There is no chance at saving it... I saw it, and just knew it was time to say good bye. Shara is taking this extremely hard. This was her baby.
Now this means we [me and Shara] are out a vehicle, and with that means No Moprhicon/Anthrocon. Her parents are working on getting the car from Shara's sister, and giving us our old car. But that is the big problem I have to repair the Car.
Well around December I sent off to get my tools from my father, and turned out my Father completely screwed me over. I have nearly 5000$ worth of tools and he GAVE THEM ALL AWAY! All I have to work with is a 30$ kit from walmart, and this isn't going to cut it.
If anyone is willing to help towards me getting the tools and parts to fix my car [not the van its deads] I'd loves you forever. paypal: munchietheredfox[at]gmail.com

That totally bites. I know from experience that if a vehicle is in a wreck, and the driver isn't listed on the insurance papers, it could lead to a nasty lawsuit from the person who was hit. My parents nearly had their 81 Corvette totaled back in 85 after loaning it to a neighbor so he could get cigarettes, and he hot-rodded it into another car.
That totally bites. Wish I could help, as I've been turning wrenches for 22 years. I'm working on getting my paws on a 2007 Hyundai Tuson that was from Louisiana and abandoned in Florida with a thrown timing belt and bent valves. I can get it for the cost of towing with a clear title and pull the head and do the valves myself.
