I have bears on my website, but that was not one of the spirit animals of this commissioner. :)

Thank you! If you're interested in a custom necklace please feel free to drop me a line with what you're looking for and how many pendants it would be and I'd be happy to get you a price! You can see the individual pendants I have available here : http://foxloft.com/store/tagua/pendant/Raven and I can do custom designs as well. :)

Wow this is gorgeous but I'd really like to see how it wears on a person. Having so many pendants I feel like they wouldn't hang/display properly when being worn?

It looks ok worn - but if I was going to make it for a lot of wearable use I would have staggered the lengths of the pendants that hang more so that it looked best in an arch shape - this one is mostly for display, so it can be worn but is meant to be hung up as it is. This configuration only works really well for someone with a really wide chest. :) I do have some photos of the slightly smaller multi-pendants being worn and they look really nice - but for 9 of them its a bit much as a 'necklace'. This ends up being more of a 'shield' where some of the pendants hang down the shoulders.

Oh okay! Thanks for the explanation! It is really gorgeous, I'd probably just end up displaying it somewhere rather than wearing it, too. Definitely a work of art.

Did you actually braid the thing by yourself as well? It's FANTASTIC!

Yes, I love leather braiding. :) It's nice to be able to do it again now and then - thank you so much! :)
