The auction has ended!

It was a close call, but  flir ended up getting the winning bid ($525). Congrats, Flir! :D

I cannot thank everyone enough for participating (and advertising!) This is a challenging move because it's so sudden, but thanks to the FA community I'll have a bit of financial backing... which — needless to say — make the whole ordeal so much easier. Again (from the bottom of my ruddy heart) thank you!

CONFETTI AND FISH FOR EVERYONE. ;u;Auction ended! HEY GUYS. I've been offered a job as a graphic designer for StarCityGames.com, and will soon be starting the next leg of my life in scenic Roanoke, Virginia!

The only problem is, I have to move out in two weeks! It's very possible, but I figured a little financial cushion would be lovely. I'll have to pay rent on my Richmond apartment for another 3 months (almost $2000 towards a place I'm not living in), not to mention finding a new apartment/the down payment/etc. It'll be tight for a little while, though I don't really want to ask for donations. Free money is great, but I'd rather work for it!

Luckily, working full-time doesn't mean I can't still take commissions! I rarely do auctions, but I figure this is the best time/reason to offer one. I aim to have all the artwork completely done before August 15th. You'll have regular updates, and if I have trouble meeting that deadline I'll let you know so we can work around it.


What you are bidding on—
A full-detail, full-background painting with a character of your choice. More characters and bonus artwork can be added depending on how high the bidding goes (as laid out below):

All ladder options are cumulative~ If the bidding reaches...

$200 — bonus sketchpage of your character
$250 — second sketchpage of your character
$300 — can add a second painted character
$400 — can add a third painted character
$500 — can add a fourth painted character
+700 — bonus sketchpages will be drawn a 8.5x5.5” landscape hardbound sketchbook, 20-40 sketch pages filled (with at least 5 having watercolor/pencil detail), and the copy can be mailed to you or picked up at a convention.

The more that's paid, the more I'll do for you~ Simple as that!

_{If you only want two characters painted, but the bidding gets up to four... another option can be negotiated (replacing the extra character with a speedpaint, etc... anything of equivalent time value).}

Payments will be made via Paypal (ask if you prefer another method). Paying the money up front is ideal, but splitting up the payments (over a month or less) is also possible. Serious bids only. I need the money to move, and unfortunately good intentions don't pay the rent. <3
