Hmm, seems like a lot of people I know are dealing with life and its mortality lately; both furry and not.
Its an amazing thing this life we have, who we get to share it with and how impactful those moments are. Moments really are the very foundation of life...some are good, some are bad, but like droplets in a pond, each moment creates something that resonates throughout our life.
Seems like he made quite a splash.
I stand on a view of life and death I understand many may not. However, where I stand I can see that if your pooch made such an impact on your life....he knows it and still does where he is. You should take comfort in that and smile in that image instead of weep in this one :}.
Our sorrow is in the loss of time to be spent but as I've said many times before, it gives weight to the memories and love we had for the individual who's moved on. And above all, we are not alone in it for where we have great sorrow, there is greater love.

Justin and I have a belief, that the people we love never really leave us. We take the parts of them we love the most, and do our best to make it a part of us so that in a way they stay on through us. You picture is lovely and you did an excellent composition. You are never alone through hard times.
I love the style you used here, so sweet, soft and cute. But the colors pour emotion into the image aswell as the body language, which I personally believe you've portrayed very well.
As for the content, I never got to know your pup but I'm sure all the fond memories you hold with him are still a huge importance and maybe, if you want to believe it, you'll get to see him again someday. <3
