Some people have said that dragony-Ru just isn't as cute as his more canine version. To which I can only respond... I not cute nao? :<
He got twice as fluffy and has cute little handlebars now, how could he be less cute? xD
I did re-think the dragony face though. I thought I really liked it when I was drawing it last night, but I took a look this morning and kinda recoiled a little bit. I think I may be sticking to the canine style face, it just suits me a bit more.
I do enjoy the fluff, horns and scales though. :P

• That new Ru physique is obvious (Perhaps it is present in both, but maybe just more obvious in the first~! <3)
• I like the fact that he still resembles the normal Ru mostly, like with the muzzle shape and all -- just with augmented parts that make him unique!
• Again, unique without going over the top. A cool sort of thing, since demon dogs/hell hounds are a thing, and as a result he kind of bares resemblance. l3
• That tail, aaaah~ <3
• Not too sure how I feel about the feet; not that they're bad, but perhaps since they're not fluffy like the rest of him, they end up looking proportionately too thin?
• Perhaps this appearance really emphasizes his devious demeanor and forward personality. >:3

Well, my opinions on these things- the physique would still be there on this design every bit as much- it just wasn't as easy to make obvious in this picture. The slightly more flabby and masculine shape would be in both though. I think with the muzzle shape here the second point also applies, the tail is just the same, the feet weren't fluffy in the first version either and getting them to look right is more my issue than the design...
Honestly it's almost exactly the same as the first version, I just moved the fur line up a bit and added in some markings on the scales. That's it. :P Imagine that picture but with these markings and you've got an idea of what he should look like.

I think it makes him look very unique and i respect that a lot. I take a lot of pride in my character being unique :3
Though with being unique and hybrid it can tend to not be appreciated by people who like one or the other. All that matters in the end is what you like. I actually have a furry version and a dragon version, never really thought what it would be like to actually mix the two.

Well you are a fantastic artist. I'm certain you could make lots of things look attractive and appealing that most people couldn't. I will say the idea of you drawing dragons more would be very nice. ^^
If I ever do manage to get a commission from you I'll have to strongly consider asking you to do a similar kinda furry/scalie hybrid mix of my character's two forms.

One of the problems I have with dragon shaped muzzles is the lack of a defined nose. Ru's nose is blue for a reason- I hail from Nova Scotia, home of the bluenose. I'm not much of a history buff, but I guess that's a somewhat notable thing in history, at least Canadian history. At any rate, it seemed appropriate and kind of fun to give Ru a blue nose in celebration, and I like that little point about him, so having a blue "end of muzzle" just doesn't work as well for me. xD

Kinda has a black-back jackal - dragon mix look, and then the tail reminds me of a leopard. Pretty cute with the eyes and pose - though those sharp taloned feet definitely coax my attention upward. x3

Whilst I can say that I did not enjoy the dragon face, that's simply because canids are the best things ever.

I actually like this one. The other two were just too aggressive for your personality. I think it was the face/head structure that was that was a turn-off for me, personally.
Then again, my hybrid designing is more along the line of 80/20 split in attributes gathered from the species used. Just look at my dracobat,

Ru's paws were never all that fluffy, really. He's gained way more fluff than he's lost anywhere. x3
Actually, I don't know if you'd be interested, but I was thinking of requesting some of your story writing talents should I decide to go through with the change. I don't come to you very often because I quite simply don't have many ideas that seem worth bothering you with. You can only write an interesting blowjob story so many times. xD
However, trying to come up with a story of how a nerdy videogame playing sexaholic canine gets some dragon blood in him... that seems like it might be an interesting challenge. Of course that relies entirely on your being willing, and having the time, and being interested, and having any ideas and such. :P Naturally it's entirely your call, but it seemed like it would be a lot more interesting than just declaring him part dragon now, and you know I can make it up to ya. :P

Hmm, if you're interested in a bit of transformation, I'm definitely the guy to ask. I'm fairly popular for my TF stories, and it's one of my main interests, so I can have lots of fun with it. Of course, since it's my specialty field, I know of so many ways to do it that I'd probably need to run a list by you to see what you like.
But yeah, if you go for it, I can back you up. I've almost finished another story to post, and these short things are always fun. :D

Hah, I suppose it is a sort of TF story isn't it? I never really thought of it that way, but there's really no denying it. x3 Well yeah, when you get some time I'd definitely be interested in hearing some of your ideas. The thing that personally gives me the most trouble is that, while I can think of plenty of ways of going about it, I can't think of any that make sense for the life of a Ru. He's a pretty mundane guy, he's not the type to get himself into trouble with strangers or unfamiliar situations, so I dunno. He may sleep around a lot on paper, but I like to assume they're people he knows and can trust before he does it, heh. So I got nothin', but I suppose that's why you're the writer and I'm the guy that splashes pretty colours around. x3
