Color is a magical thing, to something like Elluim. It's a tool, a means to instill change in the world. It's a motive force- it pulses through him like blood through an organic creature. To paint, to use Color to fill a pattern, is something like magic to him. Do those runes even mean anything? Maybe even he doesn't know; he's lost in the moment.
...Though one has to wonder if that still doesn't stop him from eating some of the paint sometimes. (Dude kinda has a bit of a belly.)

Okay, well, not only does this look awesome, but it's kind of a full-circle thing, in a way. The artist,
dragonpaw, has been in my periphery of artists-that-draw-glowy-stuff for eons. They drew a commission for a friend of mine, 
graedius ...I don't even know how many years ago. Years years ago. And, well, I was smitten, I suppose.
So smitten, that that kind of spawned a glowy form for Hayatoru, which spawned the Neptunian you see here, and...yeah. It's stupidly gratifying to see art from them of my character. Eee. And I will probably get more commissions from them somewhere along the way.
