Step Three: Gather hair clumps together
Step Four: Form Hair into Cat Lump
Step Five: Have a Shot of Tequila you lonely bastard
Step Six: Love new cat lump shape as a cat. He will grow with every brushing.
Sadly my scanner is consuming all of the colors to preform some sort of witchcraft I'm sure.

I've found it's helpful to scan it in preview mode, and reduce the brightness. Once I scan that, I duplicate the image as a new layer in Photoshop and adjust brightness by "Exposure" and play with it until it's as close to original as I can get.
Scanners always kill nice watercolor and marker work and I've found this to be semi helpful!
