The Irish "pooka" creature that Pooka is based on is often regarded as a nature spirit. Pooka in particular loves mushrooms. I wanted to do a vignette-like illustration of her curled up with them. Although she is almost completely monochromatic she has a deep fondness for colorful things.
You can also see how her hair often obscures her eyes in this picture. She can be drawn with them visible or under her floppy fringe hair c:
Another piece I drew and inked traditionally, scanned in and digitally colored. Bold colors on the grainy texture of the paper are so lovely. > u <
I think I'll be corny and call this technique "tradigital" oh lawd
