Intrinsic is a ooak (one of a kind) kirin sculpture. She was made from polymer clay over a wire and foil armature, and painted in acrylics. Her hair is tibetan lamb fur.

Intrinsic is about 5 inches long from chest to bum, and about 6 inches tall from base to the tips of her horns. She is based on an oryx or gemsbok, but with grey colouring and more horse-like anatomy. And of course she has extra scales and fur :) Her eyes are inset resin eyes in dark green, and her scales have been bronzed over in a yellow-green iridescence. In addition to the tibetan lamb fur, she has a few feathers in her tail and on her neck.

Intrinsic is possibly for sale. She was sold, and now she is un-sold, and at the moment I am hanging on to her for an art show in July (Artfest Kingston- Canada day weekend), but if I don't get into the show or if she doesn't sell there I will put her on etsy.
