Orthodox is a ooak (one of a kind) kirin sculpture. He is made from polymer clay over a wire and foil armature.
Orthodox was made in January 2012. He is about 9 inches tall. He is based on a Sable Antelope, but with scales and other adjustments. He was painted in acrylic, has inset resin eyes, and his hair is tibetan lamb fur.

Wow, this is amazing! It should have more favorites! When I saw the thumbnail, I couldn't quite tell what I was looking at. It looks like a photograph of a real animal, but seemed a little too fantasy-ish to be real. Quite confusing, haha. It's beautiful, though. I love the coloring and the fur detail.
