Upset? Not at all, annoyed because you have to be one of those types who reinforces the negative furry stereotype. Prejudice? I have no preconceived judgment towards you. I judged you for the action you did whilst commenting on this submission.
It annoys me that you have to sexualise my partner and I in a picture that isn't supposed to even be related to anything sexual

You really dont know anything about me, in fact. And are making judgements based on a tiny comment on a single submission on FA. Anyway I'm sorry, I didn't mean to create drama, it's a very nice picture and I know I would feel bad if someone were to get the wrong idea from a commission I received.
Please dont feel bad
Please dont feel bad
I'm not feeling bad about it, I'm annoyed.
I may not know much about you, but that doesn't mean I can't judge you for the actions I see you perform. It's how life works, you get judged for the actions people see you perform in the public square. And regardless of what you say, comments like yours, even if they're meant jokingly (but not apparant within the context) only help perpetuate the negative stereotype of the perverted furry.

Well, annoyed is a bad feeling in my book.
I've been in this fandom for almost 17 years, and while I respect your opinion about what does or does not perpetuate the "negative" furry stereotype, I have to disagree. But perhaps this isn't the best place for such a discussion. I will say no more on this matter, feel free to note me if you want to continue our discussion

I prefer to keep discussions like these in the public square for others to read.
And putting negative between quotes doesn't change the fact that the fandom and furry stereotype have negative connotations primarily caused by the rampant sexual deviancy on the digital forum, or that your comment unnecessarily attempts to add a sexual context to a piece of art in which there is none.

While imagining how the elbow spikes could be used in combat situations, I thought maybe he's a superhero, masquerading as a mild mannered developer. He just saw a live news report online of a bank robbery happening downtown, and he needs a place to change into his costume!

saying things like "i don't appreciate such comments" would be not taking it personally, yes. but your reactions in this thread have been degrees of this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/782...../#cid:54827856
What I meant was, of course, wearing the suit to work regularly. Since you wrote that your office is at home, I doubt that you wear a suit there every day.
And I was merely speaking from personal experience (I do work for a software development company of sorts): Those devs who come in business attire are never any good. The skilled ones are usually the most disgusting looking slobs imaginable.
And 'never' was of course a broad generalization. I do realize that there are exceptions to every rule (even to the rule that there are exceptions to every rule). In light of chaos & quantum mechanics, one should always take any absolute statements with a grain of salt.

True, but this picture is in a non-home office setting. Aside of that, I only wear a suit if I know I'm going out for project acquisition. Since this is my own company, I fulfill more roles than just that of developer.
My experience has shown some really skilled developers who did wear a suit to the office everyday. So it might be that there are more exceptions to your rule than you might've thought ;)
Thanks for brightening up the comment with your dose of quantum mechanics n..n

with VSS I presume you mean source version control systems in overall? Which mind you we have for our shared projects. But even that is not always applicable. This was just supposed to be a one-file (yet a tad complex) fix drop it on the server and be done with it asap. It's a bit of an overhead to set up a repo or a branch for specifically that one file for a project that wasn't already in a vcs.
i did that o.O was the technical theater director for a few productions and i accidentally wrote over one of the shows cue listings x.x; 300cues gone!
thank the gods that i took the time to include the system in the servers automatic backups x.x; we only lost about 20 cues phew...

As someone who deals with pipelines and art management for video games I got two words for ya friend.
Revision-Control.
Admittedly that doesn't do away completely with the possibility of file corruption or loss, but server based back-ups of file changes is prettty damned reliable.
We use perforce or p4, it is easy to get, a little difficult to set up.

as I 've said in comments above, that's not always applicable. Yes I use revision control for damn nearly any project, but this was a project outside of revision control, it needed to be a quick fix so setting up a repo around it was too much overhead, and within a minute or two after uploading the fix, he overwrote it accidentallly.
Ya can have all the backup tools and all the revision control you want, but stuff like that can still happen.

My goodness.
We have a simple joke drawing of some guy having a problem at work.
This has resulted in several people making sexual advances for no reason, an argument over OS superiority that was thoroughly braindead on almost all sides, back and forth challenges of the characters' and audience's professionalism, and the commissioner repeatedly visiting the comment section over a course of several days to correct people on such matters.
I'm going to step away from the pack here:
HEY TSAIWOLF, THAT'S A NICE ART YOU DREW. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE.
