A lot of very subtle details and a very balanced composition...; I enjoy this a lot. Fierce but fading? My own interpretation I suppose.

Did you use charcoal in this?

nope all various sized mechanical pencil and some powdered graphite!

Powdered graphite, interesting. The effect here looks very similar to some things I have done with vine charcoal and an eraser. Must have been a lot of fun :)

Definitely think you should not scrap this piece.

Out of curiosity, is the majority of your works done digitally? Or is it sort of a balance of both digital and traditional?

I used to work mainly in traditional but after I moved i switched to traditional due to convenience and inability to buy mediums.
Aside from that I draw regularly in my sketchbook using mainly pencil, pen, watercolor, and gauche. c:

That is definitely a benefit to digital art, beside the inflated prices of art programs... I guess it makes itself up in the end; you'd be spending that much on art supplies in other mediums eventually. Gauche seems like a lot of fun, I've seen some people use it and I had a chance to use it once but put it aside for other things and never went back to it ._v I guess i'll get around to it eventually.
