Decided to draw a reference for the Mew species as a whole.
Mew and Mewtwo are the origin of the species, being Legendary Pokémon. They should not need an introduction, Mewtwo being the Legendary of Darkness, Mew the Legendary of Light.
After the events of the great Reconciliation, during which Mew and Mewtwo finally agreed to resolving their philosophical differences and made peace, the two became full-fledged lovers. And then, a most peculiar event happened ; usually, due to her DNA structure as the basis of all other species, Mew's kittens are never mortal Mews. But since Mewtwo is of her own species technically, their unions caused Mew to give birth to kittens of her own species, thus bringing the mortal Mew species into the world.
In most of my stories, female Mews appear as in the bottom-left corner ; based on Mew in general shape although they lack Mew's specific curves due to the inherent DNA damage and mutations due to the mortal life cycle. Likewise, color schemes are prone to be different ; the common female Mew is white or pink and may have patches of darker pink, purple, or even light blue fur. In some rare cases, they have a light blue color scheme.
Male Mews are closer to Mewtwo. Although often not as towering as the original and lacking some of his more specific mutations such as the vein behind the head and the armor-like chest plate, they are still close to the original, with two-colored color schemes similar to the females but with emphasis on white and purple instead of pink.
The variations on the right are more theorical and used for specific fan characters ; namely, female Mews based on Mewtwo and male Mews closer to Mew. Size is far more variable and proportions can vary even further but with few exceptions, they are not the rule.
Eventually, I plan to color this drawing.
