Rusty II was a Coloseum Leader at PokeTopia, like his dad was. He's usually quiet, not very social, but he's a formidable opponent. However, his only friend is the Lucario who was his partner.

Rusty and his fellow lucario companion recently lost a close battle against the gym leader of Hearthome City, Fatina. Depressed about his recent loss, Rusty lost self confidence in himself, and walked back to the pokemon center in shame, feeling as if he let down his only friend, lucario.

"you ok partner?" Rusty asked.

"I'm fine, I am worried about you though. Don't let this loss upset you, Rusty." the lucario responded, holding his left arm in pain as one of the Nurse Joys injected him with some medicine to heal him with.

Rusty was always able to understand Pokemon. "all the pressure of being SunSet Coliseum Leader, i... i need a vacation."

This gave Lucario a idea, if this worked, Rusty could have his Vaction, and Lucario can help him grow so he comes back ready for being the SunSet Coliseum Leader.

"Rusty, do you think once we leave this pokemon center that you'd be willing to follow me to a special gathering place? I think I have a surprise for you." the lucario said with a smile.

Rusty nods and confirms the agreement with a handshake. Lucario's tail wagged as the Nurse Joy finished the treatment, his arm no longer in as much pain. "Ok, my arm is feeling better, I guess now is a good time to leave then." he said.

Rusty then walked his Friend out of the Pokemon Center. "the Island is big so don't expect to get there quickly, Which Way." The lucario sniffed the air and perked his ears, focusing a bit on the destined location. He could sense that it was only 4 or 5 miles down the road, although it was towards the forest where no other humans lived. This would prove to actually be a good thing though, based off what lucario planned to do with Rusty.

Lucario grabs Rusty gently and carries him onto his back, giving him a fierce look in the eyes as if to tell him "hold on". Lucario immediately began to sprint towards the location using extremespeed.

Rusty held on pretty well, "whoa, why didn't we use this move against fantina!?!?" Lucario chuckled. "She uses ghost types silly, extremespeed is a normal attack and would not have worked against her team."

they soon arrived at the Gathering Place. Lucario let Rusty off his back and brushed himself off. "So, Rusty. I have always been appreciative of our friendship, and I consider you to be my brother in many ways. Being a lucario has its perks, including the ability to manipulate aura..." he trailed off at the end.

Rusty was confused, "what are you talking about?" he said as he started followed his friend. Lucario's eyes began to glow a bright blue as he stared into Rusty's eyes, triggering a powerful and effective hypnosis. Rusty's eyes dulled as he became quiet and still, staring into Lucario's eyes without a single thought in his head. Lucario smiled and created a ball of aura in his paw, touching it against Rusty's chest. The transformation began instantly, his feet and hands morphing into paws matching those of a lucario, the blue and black fur covering his arms and legs. Cream yellow fur grew over his chest as a single spike protruded outwards. His neck and face was soon covered in the fur too, as his face pushed out into a muzzle. His ears elongated as aura sensors grew out from his head. Metal spikes also appears outwards from the back of his paws.

Lucario snapped his paws, waking Rusty, letting him see that he's now a Lucario. "What the..." Rusty then felt his friend petting his back, relaxing him, That as Rusty always did to his Partner. Lucario said in a soft and well spoken voice, "I have given you a new body Rusty. I want you to let go of your worries and depression, to start over and enjoy being a lucario like me. I can teach you the ways of the lucario and all our abilities. Not to mention as the same species, we are true brothers now." he said, hugging Rusty warmly. "You will stay like this for three years minimum, or longer if you so wish."

Rusty still couldn't fully understand, but considering he longer had a choice, he decided to enjoy be a Pokemon.

"I accept this gift brother" Rusty said. "Please, call me by my real name now, Aura." he said, hugging Rusty more.

after his 3 years as a Pokemon, Rusty does return to be Sunset Coliseum Leader, thanks to aura's help and guidance, Rusty was able to handle his Leader Role much better, but on occasion, he chose to return to being a Lucario to have fun and be as close to aura as brothers can be. And Rusty never stressed again.
