Took me 8 working days, finally finished all of the actions of Feather dragon pet.

The cow, mouse, pig, flying-snake, rabbit, dog, sheep and tiger under my dragon ARE NOT my works.
They all were done by my coworkers, you can compaire my pets with theirs and feel the difference.
They put human hands in some animations since they feel the hands could represent users.
I don't do that because I think the courser IS the user.
Human hands looks weird to me, how do you think?

I'll try to add a griffin pet in the future (see my gallery, I did one before), but Chinese players seems don't like it very much. I don't know why.
We will have "dress up system" but not like Neopets, since our pets can move, it's hard to add different clothes on every animations, that's a huge work. So you may buy a suite with an animation, but other animations like eating, playing won't have clothes on it.

I didn't notice anybody reply to your question about the human hand. I have to agree with you, I don't like it too much more as I see the user being off screen instead of getting that close. Makes it feel a bit less real if you have the hand in there... I think in part because not everbody has that skin tone and what not.
Great job on the animations too, they look great. Wish they'd be able to do a version in English!
